Write a paragraph on any one of the following in about 60 words:

(i) Corruption

Corruption is a poison which has been spread in the mind of wrong people of the society, community and country. It is the mistreatment of public resources just for getting

some unfair advantage to fulfil little wish. It is concerned with the unnecessary and wrong use of both power and position by anyone whether in the government or non-government organization. It has affected the growth of the individual as we well as the nation and reduces income. It is a big reason of inequalities in the society and community. It affects the growth and development of the nation in all aspects like socially, economically and politically.

(ii) A Picnic Party

After our annual examination was over, some of my friends planned a picnic. We went to a lovely place on the bank of the Ganga. Some of my friends began to cook food. We had our lunch at 1 p.m. Then two of my friends sang some songs. In the evening, we packed our things and started for home. It was a memorable pícnic party for all of us.

(ili) Honesty is The Best Policy

Honesty is one of the most important qualities of man. It makes the life of a man happy and successful. It is the greatest source of strength. A man who is honest has nothing to fear. So, honesty should be the principle of our life. We must not cheat others. An honest man commands respect. He is trusted by all. So, honesty is preferable to dishonesty.

(iv)  My Best Friend

My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place. My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy.
