Answer any one of the following in about 80 words:
(i) What did the narrator, Mahadevi Verma, do with the wounded squirrel?

(i) Mahadevi Verma gently lifted the wounded squirrel and brought him to her room. She wiped the blood from his wounds with cotton wool and applied Penicillin ointment. She treated him kindly. :
(ii) The most dominant influence on Indian film is that of the American cinema. Stories have also been written based on Hollywood pattern. The background music has revealed an irrepressible ornament which hang-down for Negroes, inspite of the fact that the story has been Indian in real sense. These are the bad qualities of Indian films.
(iii) Indian culture is different form the cultures of other countries. It is remarkable for unity and continuity. It has a unique capacity of absorbing external influences. Many tribes, with their own civilizations and cultures came to India. Our culture absorbed their influences. There is unity in diversity in Indian culture. The Indian society has capacity of readjustment and toleration. Unlike the cultures of other countries, Indian culture is as extensive as its civilization itself. All classes are equally cultured in India.
