(i) Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi is very famous in India and is popularly known as ‘Bapu’ or ‘Rastrapita’. His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was a great freedom fighter who fought against British rule in India He was born on 2 October in 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat, India. He died on 30 January in 1948. Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Nathuram Godse in Delhi. Mahatma Gandhi inspired lots of Indians to fight against British rule and strive for independence.
(ii) Discipline
Discipline is the necessity of life. A man without discipline can achieve nothing worth-while in life. Discipline is the very important condition of progress, stability and strength. Discipline is necessary in all walks of human life. Without discipline there will be disorder and lawlessness. In a civilized society we cannot live without having some regard for the welfare of others respect for authority is the basis of Discipline. Children must obey their parents. In school and colleges there must be Discipline, otherwise education will suffer. We find evidence of Discipline all around us even in the world of nature and the world of animals. Discipline costs nothing but it wins a lot. Discipline helps us to safeguard our interests and restrains us from misusing our liberty.
