(iv) Your hobby
Ans.
(i) Postman
The postman is a very useful public servant. He works in the post office. He brings letters to us from our friends and relatives. He also brings parcels and money orders to us. He moves from door to door in the hot sun and rain. The work of the postman is very hard. He moves from house to house, delivering letters and packets. His job is very tiring.
(ii) Your Class Teacher
Mr. S. Akhtar is my class teacher. He is very sincere and hard-working. He teaches us English. His method of teaching English is very interesting and creative. He makes learning process easy for everyone and pay very careful attention to each and every student whether they are weak or brilliant. He uses pictures and give common and easy examples while teaching grammar. Mr. Akhtar is very strict, but very helpful in the class. He is young, tall and hard-working. He treats students like friends and solves their problems every possible and easiest way. All the students like him and never miss his class. Students often go to him for advice and guidance.
(iii) Importance of Newspaper
No one can deny the importance of newspapers to us. They are the best source of information. They keep us informed about what is happening around us, in our country and abroad. We get news from radio and television too. But radio and television have their own limitations. Because of time limit, they cannot give us news in detail, as newspapers do. Besides, newspapers also publish articles and essays by eminent writers and thinkers, which supply us food for thought. Newspapers are also one of the conditions for the successful functioning of democracy. They point out the mistakes of a government. They arouse and create public awareness and opinion. Thus, they serve as watchdogs of democracy. No democracy can survive without newspapers.
(iv) Your hobby
Reading poetry is my hobby and delight. Poetry expresses the best that is there in the world of man and nature. And, a poet uses the best and choicest words and phrases to express what he sees, feels and experiences. As a famous English poet, Shelley, has said, poetry is “the record of the best and happiest moments of the happiest and best minds.” So, while it affords us highest kind of pleasure, it also educates us. Poets not only paint a picture of the world as it goes, they also present an ideal world. Their world sets an ideal before us. So, poets are the best educators of mankind. That is why I have got a passion for poetry. When I read it, I go into a world of joy from which I do not feel like coming out.
